TTD Trust Board Chairman Ch. Krishnamurthy
unveils the plaque for upcoming ‘SVBC Studio
and Office’ near Alipiri, in Tirupati on
Wednesday.
It will launch Tamil services soon, says TTD chief
TTD’s Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC)
will soon launch its services in another
prominent language of South India — Tamil.
Speaking at the foundation stone laying
ceremony of the ‘SVBC Studio and Office’ at the
Replica Temple near Alipiri here on Wednesday,
Trust Board Chairman Chadalawada
Krishnamurthy said the temple management
was keen on bringing an exclusive spiritual
channel in Kannada too.
“The SVBC Channel was initiated with an aim to
spread Hindu Sanatana Dharma across the
globe through innovative spiritual and dharmic
programmes. To supplement such efforts, a
state-of-art studio with the latest technology
will soon be established in the temple city.” He
said the new facility would give talented artistes
in the city and elsewhere a wider platform.
Executive Officer D. Sambasiva Rao said the
new facility would comprise three floors spread
over 4500 sq feet and would be constructed at
an estimated cost of Rs.14.50 crore. “The
works will be completed within a year and the
facility will have a live studio apart from two
more studios with all the advanced technical
equipment.” He said they would focus on
telecasting quality programmes. TTD Board
members P. Sudhakar Yadav and G. Bhanu
Prakash Reddy, SVBC CEO Narasimha Rao, CE
Chandra Sekhar Reddy, SE Ramesh Reddy and
other officials took part.
