In week 22 (May 24 – 30, 2015) of the Hindi GEC Universe, Sab TV reached the No. 3 spot while Zee TV slipped to No. 4 in individual as well as household data. Sab TV, Colors saw an increase in ratings while Zee TV, Life OK and Sony TV saw a drop in ratings.
According to TAM data HSM without LC1 markets for CS4+, Star Plus saw its ratings increase to 597 million GRPs in week 22 from 566 million GRPs in week 21 in terms of household data. While in the individual data category, the channel increased to 260 million GRPs this week from 243 million GRPs last week.
Colors at No. 2 spot saw its ratings increase to 468 million GRPs this week from 440 million GRPs last week in the household data category. In the individual data category, it increased to 208 million GRPs this week from 195 million GRPs last week.
Sab TV rose to No. 3 spot with a marginal increase to 313 million GRPs in week 22 from 303 million GRPs in week 21 in household ratings. The same was seen in the individual data where it rose to 149 million GRPs this week from 145 million GRPs last week.
Zee TV, on the other hand, saw a marginal decline in both household as well as individual data and as a result fell to No. 4 spot on the ratings’ chart. In household data, it declined to 312 million GRPs this week from 319 million GRPs in the previous week, while in individual data, it had declined to 142 million GRPs this week from 145 million GRPs last week.
Life OK too saw a dip in ratings this week to 297 million GRPs from 310 million GRPs in week 21 in household data. In individual data, it declined to 126 million GRPs in week 22 from 131 million GRPs in week 21.
Sony TV declined to 208 million GRPs in week 22 from 221 million GRPs in week 21 in terms of household data. On the individual data level, it declined to 97 million GRPs in week 22 from 101 million GRPs in week 21.
