About Chithi2:

Sun Tv most expected serial Chithi 2 Launched on 27.01.2020 Monday,

Finally ended today 28.05.2022 Saturday.

It was launched against most popular serial Sembaruthi on Zee Tamil.

First two episodes telecasted for 1 hour from 9 Pm to 10 Pm.

It got 5 Place in BARC data under top 5 programs.

It fetched 12.9 TVR during first two lauch 1 hr episodes in Urban, 11.5 TVR in Urban In launch week and 10.48 TVR in U+R.

Due to Covid 19 Pandemic all original episodes stopped and it relaunched @ 9:30 PM with more replacements in the characters.

Viewers got gradually decreased and it reflected in ratings due to Raja Rani Season 2 in Star Vijay Shifted 9:30 Slot.

But fan base for Kavin & Venba (VINVEN)got increased.

So it shifted to 10 PM and Radhika also left from Chithi2 before it shifted to 10 PM.

During Bigg boss Season 5 in Star Vijay chithi2 got shifted to 10:30 PM and Poove Unakkaga got shifted to 10 PM.

It maintained good ratings @ 10:30 PM.

When Ethirneechal serial launched on Feb 7 2022 @ 9:30 PM it again shifted to 1 PM.

Within few months chithi 2 got ended suddenly on May 28 2022.
