Tataplay started looting Rs. 10 more in NCF without even informing me officially atleast over SMS.

can DTH players increase the price without intimating the customers properly with prior notice? By just updating the info in websites?

But customers should be intimated through IVR or SMS, else it is treated as Day time Looting because money is already available in the wallet and validity gets reduced without being aware by the customer.

In case of Mobile tariff hike, only new recharge price was getting increased and customer was fully aware of what he is opting.

Now I'm going to file a complaint in National consumer helpline seeking for help. 🙃

If your DTH operator has increased the Network Capacity Fee (NCF) without properly informing you via SMS, email, or other direct communication, they might be violating TRAI guidelines on transparency. Simply updating their website, especially without clear visibility, is not enough.

Also in their published notification over website, there is no clear explicit mention of the amount going to be charged for each conditions and the eligibility criteria.

Tata Play is just looting customers, number of channels is also a criteria as per new criteria but they increased ncf to RS 163 even if user has subscribed to one paid channel then that means no.of channels cannot be criteria so tata play is fooling customers as well, they also never informed about this change and suddenly increased ncf, tata play has lost the plot big time, never expected this from Tata, this is fraud behavior.

I think It's time to shift towards Sun Dth. :sleepy2:
Currently watching only few Regular available channels and paying Rs 163 for NCF.
