No buddy, usually at home people have broadband connections so they watch content on OTT using the same so in this particular audience segment there will not be any major impact of mobile data price getting hiked while as far as the other spectrum of audience segment is concerned they r already buying DD Free Dish connection instead of opting for connection of Pay TV operators bcoz of pricing being high

OTT has gained lot of traction and will continue to grow alongside Linear TV however both need to make certain corrections to accelerate pace of growth.....1stly broadcasters need to lower prices of channels and bring in good curated content which shall immensely help Pay TV subscriber base to grow while OTT platforms need to bring in more affordable plans and good mix of content so as to attract audience which they r already doing and OTT aggregator platforms r also pg great help to expand reach of such services.


DTH and Cable TV Platforms need to innovate like launching features or channels / service channels which add an unique appeal for customers to opt for their connections be it standaone plans or OTT+DTH+Broadband combo plans.....sadly only few operators like Airtel Digital TV have been able to somewhat work on such strategy thereby helping them reduce churn + increase its DTH as well as Mobile + Broadband + OTT subscriber base but still lot needs to be done
