Also Tata Play needs to improve upon product quality (hardware + software) of its Binge Smart Android Box, it is slow and laggy .... In comparison Airtel XStream Smart Android Box scores lot better than Tata Play Binge Box interms of both overall performance and even pricing.

If Tata Play reduces discounts, offer good affordable combo DTH + Broadband plans then it will get success in the new age media/broadcast landscape else it will likely continue to make losses
Losses in long term, results in closer of company or sell off to nearest competitor this is do or die situation for number one DTH company of India today but till now no action from Tataplay in north India where they are losing maximum customers, they still think they will bounce back, but they have not launched any specific NCF discount boxes in north.Dish TV D2h had same situation previously,DishTV in north is selling 2 years NCF reduced boxes(where their Rs360 monthly plan costs Rs180 only for 2 years even they have Zing boxes with where monthly NCF is just Rs30) to bring back lost customers even Airtel is selling 3 years NCF reduced boxes(where their 3 years NCF reduced boxes cost around Rs1700-1800 for 3 years, you need not pay for box cost and you need to pay only channel price no NCF for 3 years) in north.Dish antenna is from Tata/DishTV/Airtel but DTH box is changed to DD free dish in north India,in South where I go to meet friends they are having DTH boxes but they have stopped paying DTH monthly charges they recharge boxes occasionally when their parents are visiting as they are not comfortable in using Android TV. Their children are running their anroid TV on broadband with some OTT subscriptions.

Many of them watching IPTV tataplay channels illegally, available in telegram channels does it any cause?

Well the bigger problem with Tata Play is linear TV is dying a slow death. And any amount of knee jerking wouldn't help here. So there's a requirement of a well thought strategy - which is multi fold encompassing technology and content. Without which the chances of survival is pretty bleak.

True, operators need to be creative and work on strategies to reduce churn im subscriber base whether happening bcoz of DD Free Dish or OTT across various audience segments. Airtel by far is performing the best as far as coming up with solutions to address all such issues

Tataplay losed many customers because of reduction of quality in many channels. They need to bring back Gud Quality again

If Tata Play can make regional broadcasters, HSM regions who active in their respective regions to join Tata Play platform either by reducing NCF or revising their carraige fees structure, may help TATA Play to become more stronger, powerful and may gain more customers than loosing..
