Srinagar, March 21, 2013:Building up to the digitization deadline, Tata Sky is all geared up to make major in-roads during the Phase II of digitization and cater to the growing demand for STB across 38 cities.

Tata Sky has revamped its availability by strengthening its distribution network with presence across 15000 towns, equipped itself with over 1.5 million boxes and appointed over 10,000 support staff to ensure 24x7 installations before the final dateline, a company statement issued here said.

Vikram Mehra, Chief Marketing Officer, Tata Sky said, “Digitization of TV broadcasting in the country will dramatically change the way consumers experience television. With the aim to increase viewer readiness towards the digital technology, Tata Sky is committed to making customers the ultimate beneficiary through its best in technology and customer-friendly offers.”

For the second phase of digitization, Tata Sky launched an extensive campaign to promote Tata Sky’s per day subscription cost which is as low compared to interesting food items that is consumed by most of our consumers almost daily.
