I noticed some packs with Old prefix on mytatasky while updating my pack.

Asked CC, they said new channels added on these packs so they are now increasing the costs of these packs. The price hike to be effective from today.

But none of the broadcasters have increased price of bouquet or channels rather there is reduction in some cases. Looks like Tata Sky is not in mood to pass on incentives or benefits to subscribers. If they increase base pack rates like this (even charging more for FTA channels included in it) then broadcasters bouquet is right option for subscribers to opt for. Quite strange what they r doing and this will hamper revenue rather than increasing it, people take customised base packs for convenience /discounts but going forward will cancel it and chose fewer broadcaster bouquets bcoz of hassle involved

They have also increased channel numbers for each package with the price.

Do these customised base pack not include some FTA channels too like airtel has? If so then it is even more unfair to increase price for no actual reason. As i said none of broadcasters have increased bouquet or channels price while reverse holds true in many cases. Channel count increase is not having consequence on any bouquet rates
