Ideal price from my point of view would be 150 to 200 rs. 1400 rs is price of 3D blue ray, so it should be in right ratio of actual price vs rent. Moreover, this 3D is not blue ray 3D anyway.

Charging high price and giving less number of channels makes Tata sky even more Jhenga Lala

Problem is, they already have 12 million customers and people still buying ts though it has high price with less channels. I think when subscriber base starts to decrease they will reduce price to increase customers base.

That means TS is under impression that they can charge whatever they want as customer base is increasing. Next year will be imp for all DTH due to digitization & new channel addition, so it will be interesting to see what customer will prefer.

Just got an update that the 3D movies Marvels Avengers 3D & Planes 3D will be broadcasted back to back on showcase channel lcn 284 (new channel). They will be aired on 31st Dec & 1st Jan as a special offering by Tata Sky. To watch these movies you will require a 3D TV and 3D glasses. The cost of both the movies is just Rs. 150 which means Rs. 75 each. Really happy with the pricing as, I expected it to be around Rs. 150.

Good offer...So price will be Rs75 per movie/view...But whether one has to subscribe to both the movies or can have only one by paying just Rs75?
Also is Rs75 an introductory offer?

Rs.150 is the bundled price for Tata Sky's special offering. I guess we have to subscribe to both the movies.
