yes correct, Text not takes Higher Bw, even Audio feed not takes Higher as video, dont know about DTH but in Digital Cable, There is a seprate server for EPG, Encryption & Sms and different sw use for EPG uploading in channels.

I Think DTH have separate SW for EPG, I found Dish TV upgrading EPG versions for SD & HD STBs during scan.. i didnt checked in Tatasky ..

There are 29 mpeg4 channels available in DVBS TPs. More than enough to convert one more TP to DVBS2.

There is nothing like that...we can edit the sat names as we like.no connection for the actuall sat and TP

Me too editing the names . specially Insat 4A i have Both C Band and KU Band signals and created new Sat for KU Band
