I think you misunderstood him bro. He is asking if he can see testing on TS STB now? Answer is no.

He is saying dumb to his question. Not to anyone. Means saying sorry for silly question.

thanks for clarifying on behalf of me....

As we all know that we are receiving the channels from satellite and seeing it through set top box. When tata sky or any other DTH is adding channel in satellite, it will not be visible immediately in set top box for all customers till the time they are adding LCN to that channel.

But in normal set top box (which is not from DTH operators), we can see all channels available in the satellite though it is not available in DTH set top box.

Till the time it is added into set top box we are calling the process as testing of the channel by the DTH operator.

The reason why we are getting the testing channel in normal set top box but not in DTH set top box is the software of the DTH set top  box. The software will enable the channel only when LCN is added in the satellite for the channel.

Additional Info:

Tata Sky and Airtel are having another thing called Boutique and each set top box will be mapped to a particular boutique. Each boutique in the back end will have channels assigned. With this, same channel number will be assigned to two channel but in different boutiques.

For Example Ch 100 or Ch 100 Gold or Ch 100 Platinum in Tata Sky. These three will be in LCN 100 but depending on the set top box, we will see only one of them. It depends on the boutique to which the set top box is mapped.

Other DTH operators like Videocon and Dish TV are allocating LCN irrespective of boxes.

..
Thanks for the detailed explanation...now I understood :)
