TataSky updates new software on Thomson STB

TataSky updated its software today.

My Thomson SD STB was updated to version 147.

Software version: 1.4.7.001
Release date: June 20 2012

Cant see any visible change yet. Will check in detail and update soon.

I dont see any new changes here. Except that the navigation menu has become little faster. For eg: when i press showcase and select english, it will take few seconds to load the Showcase listings but now its almost instant.

One more which i noticed is the improvement in signal. I am sure that this is nothing to do with the software update, but TataSky were doing as much as 4 Maintenence in the last 2 weeks and we were wondering what was happening. Now, I feel they could have tried to improve the signal strength as the monsoon season is nearing and to avoid attenuation during rain.
