Oh really and u will support tata sky with it? Don't u think first they should add all pending popular SD and HD channels, all the time they give bandwidth constraint excuse, are they so special that ISRO does not want to allot transponders to them.

They take no time to add Premium Channels as that will get them money but give a damn to adding regular SD and HD chs unless they get heavy carriage fee.

Tata Sky hasn't even added DD regional channels like DD Bihar, DD MP, DD Rajhasthan, DD India etc. wich is compulsory as per law stating bandwidt issue but keep adding private chs like Zindagi, Zee Premiere , Zee Action etc.

This is their double standard, they don't have intention to add new channels, it is clear

1. When D2h test 4K why don't u criticize their move as what u are doing with Tatasky ? D2h also not carrying lots of channels. Are u aware of that ? Still u only blame Tatasky.

2. Carriage fee also give them money like subscription fee for premium ch, infact carriage fee gives them more money than subscription fee of premium ch(as less number of subscribers of those premium chs). So it's not a money issue. It's company policy. So for those who like Baba ch, oldage movie ch and more crap ch Tatasky is not for them. So enjoy your D2h.

3. According to you Tatasky have no intention to add ch. Where did u get this info ? Have u checked ch addition and removal thread for 2013 and 2014 ? First check those before commenting as you are out of your mind.

First go and compare the channel list of Videocon d2h and Tata Sky, see who is leading.

Also u don't even understand the concept of carriage fee, carriage fee is paid by a new channel to get on the platform if the channels has made the effort to reach the DTH/Cable operator, once the channels is relayed and it becomes popular then no channel pays carriage fee to DTH operator as that DTH ops can't remove the concerned channel as people won't allow it. Star Plus, Colors etc. don't pay carriage ever to get on any DTH platform as they are must have channels and DTH ops themselves add it neither does new channels like HBO premium pay carriage beyond 6 months or 1 yesr from their date of lunch on a DTH platform as they can't be removed by a DTH operator bcoz of popularity.

In cable tv yes, carriage has to be paid even by popular channels as cable tv operators charge for slot of the channel and placement is decided by them. Its all a goondagardi

I think carriage fee is paid by all private Free to air ch and very few paid ch. Correct me if I am wrong.
