I will answer your question only if I get a prove that Tatasky have telecasted yesterday's match in uhd beamed directly from its satellite in sat 4a which is totally not possible bcuz currently Tatasky is already facing a Hugh space crunch problem in its tp's and for d2h has its currently not possible for them to launch a uhd channel until they remove many channels or add a new tp in their st 2 satellite. And BTW launching a UHD channel in satellite is not a different thing from launching it on a broad band cable through fiber optic cable but only difference would be it will cost the provider a few extra million us dollars for launching a uhd channel through a satellite than in a local cable through fibre optic connection where has a uhd channel on fibre cable connection will always look better and more clear than on satellite bcuz a fibre optic connection can give you speeds of upto 10 giga bit in a single cable where has dvb s2 can provide max 50 to 100 mega bit per tp . But I can guarantee you one thing bro that even if Tatasky or d2h launch uhd channels (note this technology was invented in Japan itself) even through a satellite but still they will always be many many years behind Japan in technology :k

What satellite Tatasky use to telecast UHD is not important. What is important is that it is not via fiber cable broadband it is via Satellite transmission. D2h also test a channel in 4K via satellite not via fiber broadband.

yes. It will be like watching HD channel on CRT TV(u need to connect AV output of HD STB to your CRT AV input). U can watch but resolution will be down-scaled from 4K to your TV resolution.
