S S Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion, which is the sequel to the highly popular first film Baahubali: The Beginning has been slated to release on April 14, 2017. While the makers of the film made the release announcement earlier in March, it has now been revealed that Shankar's 2.0, starring Rajinikanth (the sequel to Robot) will also release on the same date.
Now that is a clash of titans.

According to a DNA report, trade experts had expected that the makers of 2.0 would avoid releasing their film on the date, which is the Tamil New Year as well as Good Friday.

However, nothing of the sort is happening.
A source from the crew of 2.0 reveals in the report, "Why not? The mother language of
Baahubali 2 is Telugu while Robot is in Tamil.

The clash will not be headlong. And it's a long weekend, beginning 14 April. Long enough to accommodate two big films."

Touted to be two of India's most expensive films, both Baahubali 2 and 2.0 have a stellar cast and storyline to boast of. While 2.0 also sees Akshay Kumar making his Tamil film debut as the villain in the film, Baahubali: The Conclusion will finally answer our question: Why did Kattapa kill Baahubali?

Looks like the Tamil and Telugu film industries haven't heard of what happened with Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani last year in Bollywood. Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself.

Both films will be impacted if this happens.

One film release should be postponed.if it happens they will face less collections than expected
