Discussion Time to shift to DD Free Dish or local cable!

Iam starting this thread to discuss the future of Tv.
Is this the time to shift from big dth operators to local cable or DD free dish , after increment in ncf charges ,
I think this is the time to stop overcharged bullsh*t happening out there in TV industry

At first there is no hike in NCF. Buying DD FreeDish is stupid. In private dth and cable you get so many option for movies and sports. Not repeat of same movies everyday. If you avoid big GECs who has useless programs anyway. You can still save a lot.

Tips to reduce cable bill


Time has come to use sun direct.

Make another account in amazon or online payment apps to get cashbacks.

Don't subscribe channels which are occasionally watched

Local cable operators also will charge the amount which is applicable as per law, so there is nothing much you can do.

Best way to oppose broadcasters..
80% of their revenue comes from advertisements & sponsors..
Then why looting customers??
TRAI doesn't bother customer...

Sun DTH is much better option, but still it will take about a year to recover investment.

On the other hand, in DD free dish you have to buy a STB only if you have any DTH, DD free dish STB cost even less as ₹500 (MPEG 2, MPEG 4 is useless as of now).
For Dish TV users going for DD Free Dish, it is just plug and play. No alignment of dth antenna needed.
