The recently rebranded Times Network is all set to strengthen its English movie bouquet. The network, in a bid to attract the niche English movie fans has announced the launch of a new English movie channel, :new MN+.
The channel will be available from 1 July 2015.
Times Network, which runs news and entertainment channel, has launched its premium English movie channel MN+. The channel, which is available in all HD packs across digital cable and direct-to-home platforms, will showcase, popular and critically acclaimed titles, in HD quality.
While there are English movie channels in HD already, what sets MN+ apart is that it is not simply an extension of the premium MOVIES NOW SD (standard definition) offering. The new channel has a different feed and movie library, a distinct brand identity and on-air packaging. The channel is basically a new, more defined avatar of Movies Now Plus, the HD version of Movies Now.
With the tagline, ‘The Gold Class’, the logo of the channel has a shade of maroon, giving it an aristocratic look.
English Movie channel MN+ has emerged from the Times Network’s philosophy and commitment to bringing its viewers only the richest and most varied content.
“MN+ and MOVIES NOW are two complementing channels that together provide the most holistic and complete movie viewing experience for movie lovers” said Srivastava
The channel will launch with a library of 1500 movies.
