Its already testing in Times Now 2 slot since longtime. Just before launch they'll rename it.

I want all Indian channels to be in HD. There is a lack of quality HD news channels in India. Aaj Tak HD is just like upscaled SD. ABP News HD digital feed is also like upscaled SD. TRAI should force all channels to provide HD feed and just downscale it for SD viewers.

sd users still are a big source of revenue for dth operators
so catering them is more important that hd users (as hd users can watch sd channels but sd users cant watch hd channels)
