It's real estate channel ; selling houses & properties. ..
Houses r constructed by Bricks ;)
So why strange ??

“We were looking for channel partners. At that time, we
were in advanced stages of negotiations with another
famous player. We had a pitch to all the digital e-
commerce players. One of them had more or less signed
the letter of intent and the channel name was supposed to
be Property Now powered by that brand,” Anand said on
the sidelines of the channel launch event in New Delhi by
Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation Minister
Venkaiah Naidu.

“We had more or less decided Property Now powered by
that sponsor. Magicbricks.com was also one of the
advertisers we had given a proposal to, but at that time
they were unsure about the proposal. When we started
launching, they got interested so they made a counter
bid.”

The channel was earlier named Property Now along with
the name of the powered-by sponsor attached, as in Pepsi
MTV Indies and NDTV Good Times. However, the name
was changed at the last minute to make the logo look
simpler.

“As per the initial plan, the channel name would have been
Property Now powered by Magicbricks.com, but then we
thought rather than having a double barrel logo, why not
put the name right up there? They will get a lot more value
and for us it’s a cleaner logo,” he said.

Magicbricks Now will be a pay channel and is expected to
be available on all leading direct-to-home (DTH) and cable
TV platforms.
