Times Now HD launches on Tata Sky priced at Rs 30
Times Group’s TV broadcasting arm Times Network has launched the high-definition (HD) version of its English news channel Times Now on direct-to-home (DTH) platform Tata Sky.
Priced at Rs 30 on a la carte, the HD channel is available on channel no. 605. It was added on the platform on 15 April.
As reported by TelevisionPost.com, the company already had the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting’s (MIB) approval to launch the channel. It had also informed the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) that it would price the channel at Rs 15 on reference interconnect offer (RIO) for addressable platforms.
