Hi. Took a new to tata play connection yesterday, moving from airtel after almost 12+ years. Amazon bought, got full 3000 balance.

Picture quality is not satisfactory, airtel was notably better. Anyhow. Have only ncf channels now. Need to add Bengali pack, preferably HD. Which pack to add? Please let me know. Thanks

These are the Bangla HD Packs offered by Tata Play

From these packs I personally used Bangla Hindi Sports kids English HD. It was a nice pack of all Bengali HDchannels plus Hindi and English HD channels. @Saurav Ghosh bro and @Bapun bro.

Now, my Tata Play is disactivated due to some personal reasons.

Just watching a bit of zee bangla cinema channel now, yeah this is some seriously questionable picture quality! Texts are quite blurry to a point they are not even readable! Thank God i don't watch TV anymore.

Never had any issues with picture quality. Take a look at signal strength and quality.

Airtel's remote was breaking too often. And then there was a significant latency between pressing the button on remote and response on the STB. Had to keep calling CC, and that means disturbance with my work schedule. But I very much regret now. All SD channels have horrific quality, star ananda, zee bangla cinema, dd bangla and so on. It feels like a 144p picture upscaled to 480p or something.

I heard that tata play is now giving bad quality stb compared to before but some things you can try like setting your tv.. play with colour , contrast sharpness etc. also one thing worked for me is setting my stb pic quality to 576p which gives a bit better pic quality in sd channels but in hd channels pic quality will be low. This worked for me on my stb you can try.
