TRAI this clarification gives some fresh air to viewers who have multi conections in their home . TRAIs this step is Sensible . Paying NCF for each conection is imposible task. May b Trai realises it and withdrawn the burden.

Could you give some example?

P.S.: I haven't seen TV in last 4-5 years now. I just pay the bills for the family. If you could give some example and that would help me.
I use 2 Tata Sky connections. One is primary and other is under Multi TV connection. If i pay NCF for primary connection, Multi TV will have no NCF changed.

Still i feel new packs would be costly comparing to old packs though.

If u hv multiple conections at ur home . Then NCF only payable for main conection . Guess u hv 4 conections at ur home that means 4 *130+gst but Trai says u only pay for main connection means 1 *130+gst. Multiple conection counted as single conection in single household.

So my question is If i have 2 connection in my home.
I have to pay NCf for the parent connection only.
So the same pack which is in parent connection, eg: NCF + Some bouquets + Some Alacarte.
Will i get the same channels in the child connection too???

What TRAI says is 'it is not mandatory'. So it is upto the operators to charge or not. For all you know, they can continue charging for all secondary/additional connections
