I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion.. Having said that, to your question, - What's so special about this channel?

1) This is the World’s first Tamil Travel and Lifestyle Channel.  Not everyone can understand Hindi or English.. 

2) Currently they are showing dubbed programs.. but they are planning for 100% tamil language program in near future... meaning, it will have localized programming having tamil hosts.. Neither fox life or TLC (btw, TLC doesn't even have tamil audio) is doing that...

3) If this channel become successful, then it would create opportunities for others to create localized programming and target those niche audience.
