unable to set 83* east in my 6 feet c band dish

Insat 4A has one of the strongest signals amongst satellites in India.... Check dish azimuth and try LNB skew....

Kindly mention which c band dish r u using and please mention the type of c band lnbf ur using? is ur lnbf dual pol?? :huh
 
ya only horizontal pol signals available on Insat 4A C band.... No vertical polarity channels available....
 
6 feet solid dish and rainbow dual pol lnb why i am unable to catch this sat i am a newbie also so help me bros

There may be other technical feature required to be enable or change in set top box.. Or check the lnb or cable.. I am too using 6 feet dish for 83 degree. There is no any such problem
 
main problem is in elivation and angle bro my box is fine i am using x1 box and watched abs1,nss6,and ddd+ with this box but not getting signal:skd:'(

what is your location... longitude & latitude... :huh
 
For new delhi & 83deg east

Dish azimuth = 167.33 (relative to north)
Dish elevation = 55.98 deg.

calculation based on satellite finder site.
