Seeking Help Upgrade To Binge Plus STB Option Not Available

Hello friends, Im currently using Tata Play HD+ STB and wants to upgrade to Tata Play Binge Plus STB. But there is no upgrade option showing on my Tata Play Mobile App.

Now what to do friends??

Alright. But pls note that the box is a bit laggy. Once you've upgraded then you cannot downgrade.

I have sacrificed 4K channels for a better and fast box bring the HD+ PVR since it has recording function. Binge box has only 25 hrs of free cloud recording

Absolutely right. Android box both tata play and airtel not great, better' purchase ott platform yearly.. and watch them on mobile and tablet

I too have one box. Because of the lag and the cluttered UI, I stopped using it. I asked them for a downgrade, but a downgrade is not possible. So, if your preference is for smooth TV viewing, I recommend the HD box itself. Only go for the Binge Box if you really need it. The Binge UI is outdated as well.

I have one doubt, HD PVR Box will work with Normal LNB. If not can I get Sat CR LNB from local shop.

No, normal LNB won't work for DVR since it requires 3 tuners support simultaneously. You need to buy SatCR or Super LNB 2.0 from Tata Play. These LNBs are not available on local shops.

Why didn't you get a free super lnb / upgrade to SAT CR for the HD + STB (assuming yours is a 3 tuner model) ?

Actually I have Sat CR LNB bro. But will shift my 1 STB to another place so need Sat CR for that place.
I cancelled the plan to upgrade now.
I will use HD+ STB only.

Thank you brothers for help. I will take Sat CR from tata play technician now on 11 dec as Im shifting my STB on 11 dec.Talked to Tata Play Technician also.
