Viacom TV 18 has purchased transponder space on satellite Measat 3a at 91.5° East to increase their channel offerings to the Asian region.

The beam will be a wide one covering the entire Asian region. Viacom TV18 already has channels like Colors, MTV, Nick, Sonic & VH1 channels and plans to add more channels.

The channels are going to be beamed through C-band transponders of Measat3A and not on RDTV's Measat3.
