Reliance Industries on Saturday, September 28 said the Centre has approved the transfer of non-news and current affairs TV channels held by Viacom18 to Star India, as part of the strategic Reliance-Disney venture.

With this, I sincerely hope that the Viacom18 brand comes to an end once and for all. Reliance and later Disney’s vision for the company does not tally with the outdated Viacom name.

no only 2 channels will shutdown n rest will be Rebranded to Star Sports next year.
