I would say mostly young people are preferring OTT but rest all are still going with DTH/Digital Cable.

I liked the concept of Airtel Internet TV but unfortunately it is not available in all areas so I could not take it, may be in future if it is also provided on 4G network instead of needing dedicated broadband line then more people (people in rural areas and outskirts of cities) where broadband connection is not feasible will have opportunity to avail it.

If you choose, OTT either you'll end paying more or sacrificing many shows or movies.
Yes I agree, as of now no OTT player has all content available on DTH or TV channels.

But in future it may change, one such thing can be from Jio which could further enhance and offer Jio Tv + Jio cinema + Jio music to make it complete offering.

I don't think it's possible in TN at least, Sun owns a huge collection of Movies. Other movies are owned by Star, Zee, Jaya and Raj. It's hard to combine all these under a single app.

Ya everything cannot come on one offering from one OTT player, but may be at least majority of them may be possible.

As of now majority of TV channels are on Jio tv and already Jio has integrated Jio tv with hot star and also Sun network channels are available on Jio tv though Sun network has it's own app Sun Nxt.

So may be operators would come to some agreement to share services among themselves like Sun shares it channels with other DTH and Dish tv shares zee channels with other DTH.
