i think videocon d2h plan to launch iptv or internet tv or this type of service...

yesterday i called cc. usne muje last main pucha ki main ek survey k bare main apse kuch sawal puchna chahta hu. usne muje pucha ki apke ghar pe net use karte ho ?? ager ha to uska har mahine ka cost kya hai ???


maine usko pucha ki kuch naya launch karne wale hai kya to woh bande ne bola ki sir abhi kuch idea muje bhi nahi hai par survey aaya hai to puch rahe hai ....

i do not think that they launch iptv services.
a company like airtel have already launched it way back in 2010 or 2011.
adtv - iptv services - delhi ncr & bengaluru .
rcom or rdtv - iptv services - mumbai

so bro i live in delhi ncr, but iptv is a failed concept though iptv services n facilities r way better than dth n digital cable services.

in india to cover iptv services in most of the areas is almost impossible.

yesterday jai bro called up to cc of d2h. cc asked him at the end of his conversations that he wanted to ask him some questions regarding a new survey. the question was - whether jai bro uses net at home? if yes, then what is the monthly bill or cost?
jai asked him y r u asking it. r u planning to launch a new thing or technology? the cc replied him that even he is also not sure but he had to ask him these questions according to a new survey.

yes prateek i know all dth iptv segment is failed. that is why these people told him that they r doing some type of survey but for what they r doing it, they never told him. it might b of iptv or may b of something new like adtv started dongles.

Clearly Videocon Telecom is entering Internet market in India. And D2H is planning to provide VoD services with Cisco infrastructure.

I'm guessing both these services will be tied as D2H needs a point-to-point internet connection to provide VoD services.
