Those who had watched Saravanan's Engeyum Eppodhum would not have missed the young and chirpy Vatsan, who tries to impress a pretty girl the bus which Jai takes. Though the youngster tried hard to become an assistant director, his dreams were not fulfilled and he did miniscule roles in Engeyum Eppodhum.
Vatsan has now bagged a film titled Apple Penne. And guess who sent him wishes? It was none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Interestingly, Vatsan is a huge fan of Vijay and even recorded a tribute song to his childhood hero. The track called the Thalapathy Anthem reached Vijay. Vijay who has been tracking the progress of the youngster was pleased to know about his new film and even launched the Thalapathy Anthem.
Vijay, according to Vatsan, has been a huge pillar of strength for him and keeps repeating his famous dialogue 'Vazhka oru vattam da' every now and then.
