No anna initially jaya only had bahubali 1

Correct. I believe Jaya had the rights for a year before Star bought them. Also, Jaya was the last channel to premiere Bahubali 1. In fact this is true for Malayalam as well; Mazhavil Manorama had the rights for part 1 before Star bought it.

Kalaignar TV & Jaya TV has good movies but all those movie have become old classics now.

Off late only Star Vijay & Zee trends in buying most of newly released movies Sun also not into buying much now only what they produce & very selected list of movies being bought by Sun TV as of now.

Zee Tamil has some Biggie's and some of their movies earn better ratings but Star has better library but certain unexpected movies deliver them good ratings but hugely expected big Star movies gets only meagre ratings.

For example Mersal telecast delivers good ratings to Zee Tamil while Kaala didn't deliver that expected ratings for Star Vijay while unexpectedly Kadaikutty singam delivered good ratings for Star Vijay.

Based on last year list of movies premiered zee premiered 31 movies and tops the list while Vijay Premiered 16 and Sun Premiered only 15 excluding straight K TV premiere & Sun Life premiere and totally Sun Network premiered 18 movies.

Yes zee have lots of movies,but u have to keep in mind that sun TV slowed buying in first half of 2018 because they are investing in there Marathi and Bengali channels, but in year end sun tv CFO told they aggressively buy new movies and produce more movies,from 2019,one more thing this only March but they have 18 movies in that 4 movies released ,2 movies are block buster.

Next 2 Ajith movies might go to Zee Tamil and lots of upcoming Vijay Sethupathy's films too with Zee Tamil so their future too looks good but how they utillise those movies to generate TRP will decide who gonna lead.

Sun TV Sunday movies becoming too much of repeatitions though not often like Aranmanai,Kodi,Vishal movies and so on but Vijay & Zee new movies nowadays pretty watchable over Sun TV.
