Ilayathalapathy’s Theri is setting the box office ringing with massive collections even in it’s third week run, The film has broken yet another legendary record held by Superstar in the UK Box Office. The Nine Year old record which has held by Superstar’s Sivaji has just been surpassed by Ilayathalapathy’s Theri.
The Ilayathalapathy Starrer has overtaken Sivaji by collecting till date* – £400,448 (3.9 cr). Unquestionable BLOCKBUSTER indeed !! Theri now stands at Number 2 at the All Time Rating in UK Box Office for Tamil Films.

Theri directed by Atlee featuring Ilayathalapathy Vijay, director Mahendran, Samantha, Amy Jackson, Baby Nainika and others hit the screens on the 14th of April and is completing 25 days today, the 8th May.
Although there were issues in the Chengalpattu, Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram district regarding its release, they were also resolved and theatres in this area released the film on the 1st of May to a good response.
Theri is the first blockbuster of the year as per Behindwoods Chennai Box Office reports. It is also holding decently with 40 plus screens in Chennai today in its 4th week.

24 cant beat the theri's overseas first week collection.
but 24 tamil+telugu version doing extraordinary in US beats Theri first week collection and going strong.
other than US Theri make strong record and going well in on that areas. including UK and Malaysia(16 locations) Singapore (5 locations).
