Only now, not after some years. Most of these Kannada news channels will shut down due to lack of viewership and funds. Just see this post. The oldest Kannada news channel, Udaya News, is brain-dead. Just like Channel V, it is on life support. When Channel V shuts down (and becomes Star Sports 1 Kannada), then alone Kannadigas can rejoice. Also, when Zee Kannada HD launches.

Very well presented It is a correct perspective Nobody really cares for the struggle of people and what their day to day problems are?Infact most of them are mediocre and don't even know what journalism is!!They just copy Go to any TV Channel they have lot of monitors and they chase the same story But still they somehow manage advertisements Hamid palya was good when he was in TV 9 but he heads Raj TV Kannada TV absolutely useless He is lazy and don't know why the owners from Tamil nadu don't monitor or bother?Election season is attractive no doubt because plenty of money flows that too black money But sustenance on a long term is doubtful
