This is a big revelation Star might be trying to telecast IPL in all Regional HD Premium GECs that might be one of the reason why Airtel trying to block HD Channels specifically while most of the SD Channels given free of cost.

ZEEL already offering an ad package in competition to IPL ad package offered by Star at a lower cost.

It looks like ad revenue fight between ZEEL & Star where Airtel got stuck up in the middle.Let's see what's the outcome & good thing this does for viewers.

But on TV they are only saying Star Sports. They are not disclosing TV channels. Unless they do that, Star would be the dumb here

This is not true. They disclose all regional channels name also on TV, on their respective regional channels. But yes till now they don't disclose that Ipl will be telecast on Jalsha movies HD and Maa Movies HD or not.

They have disclosed that it won't.

However, the high definition channels of Star would be as part of select packs and “Airtel Digital TV will only charge what Star TV is charging it, not a rupee more”.

Maybe they are again changing topup costs of Star HD channels. Currently it's much higher than RIO rate.
