Epic TV to launch separate HD channel

Epic Television Networks has said that it will launch a separate high definition (HD) channel for its Hindi infotainment channel Epic TV.
“Epic HD is not shut down. It’s just in the process of being revamped and coming up as a separate channel,” Epic TV Networks spokesperson told TelevisionPost.com.

The channel has also shifted from Intelsat 20 to Insat 4A from 26 October. “As part of our identity, being India ka apna infotainment, we decided it was only right to broadcast from an Indian satellite. We hence changed our satellite from IS20 to Insat4A,” the spokesperson added.
