I saw in many satellite discription there is ku beacon tp for fine tuning. What is actual meaning of ku beacon tp of satellite. It has no uplinking. Frequency shows only downlink. Is it mean its frequency generate by satellite itself to track on earth? Can any expert explain? Thanks in advance.

Beacon frequency is an permanent frequency/ transponder, which can not be change during life time of satellite, it maybe ku or c band, it is used for telemetry tracking & control (TT&C).
