Which is Best (Picture & Sound Quality)?? Cable TV STB or DTH Providers STB

I would like to buy a STB for my native house...at present using cable tv in Sony LCD...Which one is best....Cable TV STB or DTH providers STB on the basis of Picture and Sound Quality...is there any Quality difference in both of them?....am using Tatasky at my official residence...its good....but at native cable operator charging monthly rent for Rs.125/-....asking for STB for Rs.1750/-.....on basis of price cable tv dth is so cheep....i want to know the qulaity of cable tv dth.....anybody using the same...please share your experience........

if you want good clarity go for tatasky or airtel, cable STB clarity will not be so good compared to DTH. but cable STB you can get a lots of channel at a lower price. In DTH you have to pay for every channel you will not get even a single channel for free.

Cable including digital have poor PQ,AQ in comparison with any of the dth's.

in my locality local cable dth have very good PQ quality..but they do not have good AQ,, moreover most of the cable do not have HD ch.
but if you buy a cable stb then you would never face space crunch problem which is faced by all the dth (except dish tv)..
so i would suggest that first check out the PQ of digital cable from neigbour. if you are satisfied then opt for it other wise buy airtel digital tv as it is a all rounder..
