Which is best resolution for HD STB ???

Finally I got my new HD STB from MSO. Everything is awesome, UI/EPG/ is also great.

I had one question abt the resolution setting:

The STB has the following options in HD

1080i @ 50Hz
1080i @ 60Hz
1080p @ 50 Hz
1080p @ 60 Hz

I have a Sony Bravia 40 inch Full HD LED TV that supports both 1080p 50hz and 60Hz

So guys which of the following should I choose to get the best HD quality

But some say that 50Hz is for PAL (India) and 60Hz is for NTSC (USA) ??? Does it matter or it will work properly in the last setting.

I don't think you will face any problem with 1080p @ 60 HZ :k

But you can try both for a few days and decide for yourself
