If you are an ardent sports fan, the monthly cable or dth bills are likely to take a toll on your purse. So going by the current scenario, here's how an economic sports package-
* Starting with Star, SS 2&3 are useless as all the live events are scheduled on SS1&4 and unless you aren't a huge fan of substandard hindi commentary you can skip SS 2&3 conviniently.
* Sony SIX is now a must have for every sports fan as they have a huge variety to offer right from NBA, Ind-Nz series, IPL, FIFA World Cup to Australian Open next year. And they may be looking for some more events.
* TEN Network is another must have for a true sports lover. With UEFA Champions League, Europa League, WWE,ATP, WTA, US Open, Ligue Un and almost half a dozen cricket rights it is the No.1 sports network in the country.
* Neo Network can also be skipped as it has lost all the major telecast rights. Unless you closely follow Bundesliga, it is useless. It would be interesting to see if it retains the rights for French Open.
