Here's the list of channels under other languages category.
DY 365 - Assamese channel
News18 Assam & North East - Assamese channel
News Live - Assamese channel
Nepal 1 - Nepali channel
Rang TV - Assamese channel
Ramdhenu - Assamese channel
Rengoni - Assamese channel
North East Live - Bilangual channel
Indradhanu - Assamese channel
DD Arunprabha - Hindi channel
DD Manipur - No idea
DD Kashir - No idea
We have 7 Assamese channel. So it's a no brainer to recognise Assamese as a language. Not just Assamese all the channels on others category deserves their own section. It's easy for non usual viewers to find the channels. When something happens in Kerala. Instead of national channel. I would have preferred local Malayalam channel for proper understanding of the situation. So it's high time Tata Sky recognise all languages.
I have given feedback months back. But they didn't act upon it. This is not a ridiculous request. So I think Tata Sky should act on it without the requirements of courts or government requiring them to ask to do it.
