I have observed that until 2017, especially during Bigg Boss Tamil 1, the Tamil serials and movie premieres threads were the most active out of the four Southern languages. Now Kannada is the most active by far, followed closely by Telugu. Even Malayalam gets some discussions now and then, but Tamil is totally silent.

Now days people prefer to watch the movies in OTT instead of tv premiere, reasons are too many ads and unnecessary cuts..
