Well who has stopped others from buying rights of various films or entering agreement with banners or studios? Star/disney is focused on bringing best content to viewers be it bollywood, hollywood or dubbed hollywood films. Others can also do same by reducing focus on dubbed south indian movies.

Star/disney got excellent ratings/viewership bcoz of brilliant and balanced content strategy, innovative promotion campaigns, scheduling, presentation, pricing, etc. hence it resulted in more subscription revenue, ads/revenue generation which they r making use of to further improve content across chs as well as other things.
