MUMBAI: WOW Cinema, the newly launched Hindi movie channel for LC1 markets, is all set to hop on to Doordarshan’s direct-to-home (DTH) platform, Freedish, on 1 July.

Freedish had one slot vacant which was offered to WOW Cinema on a pro-rata basis. The channel has paid Rs 3.7 crore (Rs 37 million) carriage fee to get carried on the platform.
