I wouldn't call it cunning, rather it's a smart move. The producers have to think about ROI So, decisions like this is must. If there wasn't any 50% occupancy they wouldn't have opted for an early release. Plus Yuvarathnaa was strong in Mysuru centres, there they have announced only those who have Covid-19 negative reports can watch the movie.Only ran a week in theaters with high occupancy rates to sell at a high price to OTT platform.
Very cunning, but good move. I wanted to go watch in the theater next week, but now I won't.
