Zarine Khan is heroine in Karikalan

Zarine Khan, who acted opposite Salman Khan in Veer, has been cast as the heroine opposite Vikram in Karikalan. Produced by Silver Line Film Factory of S.S.Vasan and S.Parthi. (Silver Line had earlier made the Jiiva starrer Singam Puli), Karikalan will be directed by L.I. Kannan, who worked on the special effects in films like Enthiran, Anniyan, Eeram, Ghajini and Sivakasi. Harris Jeyaraj will be the music composer. while Pasupathy and Shanmuga raja play key roles.
L. I. Kannan had always been studying the camerawork in Hollywood films. He plans to make Karikalan using Animatronics, Miniatures, and Computer Graphics. In fact a few portions have already been shot at Thalakonam Forests.

N. Karthik is the cinematographer while Mahesh is in charge of editing.
