English GEC Zee Café is all set to air its new show, 'Raising the Bar', from 4 February.

The show will air Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm. The legal drama centers on a group of young lawyers who were classmates and friends in law school, but now find themselves professional adversaries, working on opposing sides of the same case and facing off in the courtroom.

Idealistic public defender Jerry Kellerman does whatever it takes to assist the helpless and disenfranchised, which often leads to clashes in the courtroom presided over by Judge Trudy Kessler, a hardliner hoping to become the city's next district attorney. Jerry has many clashes with both law enforcement and the assistant district attorneys (ADAs) such as Michelle Ernhardt, the beautiful and occasionally devious attorney with whom he has had a turbulent secret fling.

In the pilot episode, viewers are introduced to public defender Jerry Kellerman, whose passion and energy for defending his clients occasionally leads him to question the justice system. While defending a man he is certain is innocent, Jerry struggles to navigate the system while remaining humble in front of a judge who despises him. Meanwhile, in the district attorney's office, Michelle tries to right a wrong in a rape trial but runs up against her boss, who doesn't want the DA's office to be embarrassed by winning a wrongful conviction.

The show stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Natalia Cigliuti, Gloria Reuben and Teddy Sears.
