This instagram post clearly mentioned that Zee Chitramandir channel is only for DD Free Dish Subscribers.

Clearly they want to avoid any overlap between Zee Talkies and Chitramandir because of their similar library. So one is only a pay channel and the other is only for DDFD. But most DDFD channels are present on pay DTHs, except Rishtey Cineplex and the recently-launched Colors Cineplex Bollywood.

Other than ADTV none of the pay DTHs have it.

This is something that could possibly be done to Zee Yuva, if/when it rebrands to Zee Chanderi or maybe keeps the existing name.

Flagship pay channels are not added on DDFD, only secondary channels. The exception is Bhojputi where every single channel, pay or otherwise, is on DDFD.
