Hindi movie channel Zee Cinema is all set to premiere Tiger Shroff- and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer ‘Baaghi’ on 15 August at 12:30 pm.
The film revolves around Ronny (Tiger Shroff) who shows up at a ‘kalari’ (a Kerala martial arts school that teaches the ancient martial arts form ‘Kalaripayattu’) in order to hone his rough edges. He falls in love with an upcoming actress Siya (Shraddha Kapoor), who has her own rebellious streak. But silly misunderstandings, a conniving father and a vengeful villain keep them apart.
Raghav (Sudheer Babu), a Bangkok-based power businessman, kidnaps Sia. Her father PP Khurrana (Sunil Grover) approaches Ronny to save Sia from the clutches of Raghav. From an aimless baaghi to a rebel with a cause, Ronny agrees to help.
The channel has unleashed an extensive marketing campaign for the premiere of this action blockbuster in key markets. The marketing activity spans TV, radio, theatre, DTH, print, outdoor, digital, social media and PR campaigns to build excitement and create adequate buzz.
A two-week promo plan has been executed with GECs, music, news, youth, sports, regional movie and regional news channels. To ensure maximum eyeballs, an all-encompassing digital plan targeting the youth is also on in full swing comprising websites and applications in genres like music, Bollywood and gaming along with social media promotions.
