Also Zee Classic should be added by Dishtv and then available to D2h via ST-2 as its a RoI channel.

They should provide free dish tv box upgrade to d2h north/roi subscribers alongwith ses 8 realignment so that all popular sd/hd chs r received. No point just realigning as d2h would not provide required chs be it thru ses 8 or st2 as agreement with broadcasters for this is doubtful now that d2h is having south centric approach and anyways if they provide all chs on both platforms then again whole point of realignment is of no relevance as subscribers will miss out on many chs whichever satellite they align towards and again if they decide to work out a way by designing specific bouquet for each zone or allowing select broadcaster bouquet to b taken by roi or south subscribers then again it will create lot of confusion. It would have been best if even dish tv south subscribers were given free upgrade to d2h and interchanging of those boxes would have happen with d2h north subscribers. Current strategy will create trouble for subscribers

The same can be done as you rightly pointed out but the number of subscribers overlapping to tune to ST2 or vice-versa would have effect on agreements with broadcasters making it difficult to come to the right numbers.

Under new tariff order this is not a thing to worry, everything is decided on current situation and anyways subscriber base fluctuations would not b that much
