Breaking Zee Media has started preparation for their upcoming Tamil and Telugu News channels

Zee Media had already cleared that they will launch 5 new news channels for Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and North-East region.

Recently, Zee Media has started to hire journalist for Tamil and Telugu region. It seems that they are in full mood to launch two more channels (in their portfolio) in Tamil and Telugu very soon.

This isn't enough to clarify that they're launching a news channel. Editorial/ production/ news content writing work can be also there for the current web platforms. In fact in the news, they had clarified that there are no such plans.

Considering the respective market situations & also the current company status (their decreasing share values), I personally don't think they will launch news channels for south India.
